BUILDING A STRONGER FSP
Every professional organization needs to evolve and grow to consistently deliver value and remain relevant to the member community.
The FSP Membership Growth Initiative (formerly known as Member Get a Member/MGAM) is an important part of our plan to do exactly that–and to maintain our position as the premier organization in the financial services profession. But we can’t do it without you.
Research proves that “word-of-mouth” referrals are the most effective recruitment tool for organizations like FSP. That makes sense: No one knows the benefits of membership better than you do, so no one is better suited than you to recruit new members into FSP.
This Initiative runs July 1st through June 30th. Invest some time; it’s worth the return, on more than one level.
The Value of Recruiting: Keeping FSP Vital and Relevant
Building a stronger FSP empowers every member. When you recruit new members into FSP the entire organization is strengthened, and your own personal network is enriched. These new members keep FSP vital and keep us relevant in an ever-changing environment that demands that we all stay strategically savvy and extensively networked.
The Value of Recruiting: Reducing Your National Dues
If the incentive of expanding your own network and knowledge–and your referral system-- isn’t sufficient to motivate you to participate in this Membership Growth Initiative, consider this: each new member you bring in reduces your national dues.
Recruit one new member to reduce your dues 20%; two new members, 40%; three new members, 60%; four new members, 80%. Recruit five new members and enjoy free national dues in the next membership year.
Share your membership experience with colleagues and coworkers, those in your network, and those you’d like to have in your network—and invite them to create their own success story with FSP.

Remember, too, your own pivotal importance to the FSP community. Each individual member is an important asset to the whole, bringing personal perspective and expertise that enhances the multidisciplinary nature of FSP. The growth fueled by new members enables FSP to offer more resources, education, networking, and overall support for all.
